LOOKING AHEAD TO HOLY WEEK
Easter is rapidly approaching, and we know you will want to be here for some unique and special services. On Maundy Thursday, April 1, the 7 P.M. candle light service will feature a dramatic dialogue between PASTOR PAM and LINDA POTTS called “The Night We Say Good-bye.”
On Good Friday the chapel will be open from 7 till 7 for the Prayer Vigil. You are invited to come anytime for personal prayer, meditation, and communion.
Easter Sunday will begin with a victorious Sunrise Service at 7:30 led by the Praise Team and our Youth. “A Rainbow of Promise” will fill you with the true meaning of the Easter Resurrection. Following the service a continental breakfast will be served in Fellowship Hall.
At 9:00 and at 11:00 we will celebrate the message and hope of Easter. Both services will feature a message in dialogue between PASTOR PAM and LINDA POTTS, “Have You Seen My Son?”
Easter is truly the “backbone” of our Christian faith, and that’s why we plan to truly celebrate the Resurrection for the entire weekend! Plan to be part of it!

FOR YOUR INFORMATION
I’m going to teach a class on the Disciple history. The class will start on Sunday, Feb. 14th and continue until Easter Sunday, April 4th. We will meet in my office at 10:00. Grab your drink and a cookie or two and join me..
We will have an opportunity to talk about Christianity in general and our church history and beliefs. This is a good time to brush up on the use of your Bible because we will go over how the Bible is put together and why things are were they are. You may recall Bible stories you have heard since you were small. As you think about the Bible stories you have heard, have you ever been curious about what meanings they have for your life?
We will study the connections among the three parts of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), local, regional and general. We will also try to understand by whom and for what reasons our denomination was started. We will look at what we believe and look like as a denomination, one church among all the churches which make up the body of Christ on earth today.
I hope for some lively discussions and a journey of exciting learning. Please consider joining me in the Pastor’s office Feb. 14– April 4.
Yours in His Service, Pastor Pam
