Attendance: Tuesday, Aug. 10th thru Sunday, Aug. 22nd (4 services) 378 Special Folks attended!
Thank you so much!!
I can’t thank the members of this congregation enough for the love and support you have given me over the past four and a half years.
I remember clearly a conversation that took place during my interview. I was asked if my goal was to one day be a pastor. I quickly answered, “No. My desire is to work with the children, youth and Outreach.” I went on to say, “That doesn’t mean that one day God couldn’t change the desires of my heart.”
That day has come. I now feel ready to shepherd my own flock. The opportunities that I have been given here to be a leader are what prepared me. Your words of encouragement are what have given me strength. I am sad to leave you, but excited to see what God has planned for me. Please rejoice with me as I take this next step in my ministry. Also, please keep in touch. My phone number, e-mail and Facebook page will remain the same!
Thank you for everything & may God continue to bless you,
Miss Jill

FOOD COLLECTED AT PARADE WOW!
What an outpouring of generosity at the Carnation Parade from our community! Our 15 “walkers” collected about 246 pounds of non-perishable food items and almost $400 cash. Thanks to the TONY DIDONATO family for supplying and packaging over 3000 bags of candy to give to kids and to CARL EVANS for giving us the “boat” idea and loaning his boat and truck for the parade. In spite of the intense heat, it was 3 hours well spent!

HELP!
THE FOOD PANTRY!
I’m sure you are all aware that the Alliance Area has suffered severe job loss from the recession, resulting in a significant increase in the number of families seeking food. Unfortunately, the pantry funding has decreased significantly at a time when the need is increasing. We are in need of your financial support! Please —- can you help? Dick Duro
